They have had many successes throughout their existence and have continued their success under Turoscy's guidance. The VIPs finished fifth at the Major Nationals each of the past two seasons, tying the best-ever finish. Because of their outstanding performances, four of the VIPs were named ASA All-Americans in 2006.
Prior to coaching the VIPs, Turoscy lead the Spirit, a Women's ASA Class A fastpitch team for 10 years. She also saw great success with the Spirit finishing as the National Runners-up in 2003, while winning numerous state and tournament championships and producing several All-Americans.
